Our Wedding Ceremonies
Traditionally, there are many ceremonies that make up an Indian and Thai wedding. Explore the links above in the Our Wedding Ceremonies tab to find out more information our specific ceremonies.
The first ceremony of our wedding week will be the Ladies Sangeet which will be an event for men & women to come dance the night away and enjoy some delicious food on August 1st, Thursday, at 7:00 pm. For more detailed information, please click under the Our Wedding Ceremonies tab above.
The second event will be the Mehndi Party at Darlene's House on August 2nd, Friday, with two session times for your convenience. This will be a chance for the ladies attending the wedding to get their own henna applied and prepare for the wedding day. We will be having two ceremonies on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013. In the morning at 8:30 am we will be having our traditional Indian Sikh Ceremony called the Anand Karaj at a Sikh Temple. Afterwards at 11:30 am, we will be having a Thai Buddhist Wedding Ceremony at a different site which has a lot of personal significance for us since we have celebrated multiple anniversaries there!
